Come to the library parking lot for a festival of transportation! Brought to you by the fire, police, and public works departments of Hamilton and Wenham, Dodge Tree Service, and Lyons Ambulance. This is a rain or shine event. Families of all ages are welcome, no registration necessary.
Maritime Gloucester is partnering with Gloucester Museum School to offer an evening of family-friendly rowing! Each registration is for a family of up to 5 people to go out with an instructor for 30-45 min. Bring a picnic dinner and make an evening of it! All skill levels are welcome. Life jackets will be provided but if you plan to bring a child under 30 pounds you need to bring an appropriate life jacket. Pre-registration is strongly encouraged.
This is a free event held at Balch Park, Balch Street, Beverly, with a focus on bonding and creating comradery within our community. For grades 5th-8th. Teams of 4 on 4 with a goalie. All equipment will be provided. Games will be held throughout the day. Team assignment and game time provided at close of registration. Each player will receive a free t-shirt. This program allows you to get up close and personal to live beach creatures including crabs, snails, hermit crabs and more. Through hands-on activities, you'll get to explore what makes Plum Island such a unique habitat for many kinds of wildlife.
