Decorated pumpkins may be left to be submitted into the MFF's Pumpkin Illumination on 10/24 (for a chance to win prizes!). Admission include everything needed to decorate a pumpkin! Join Tinkerhaus for free weekly sessions for Kids 3 and up on the Clipper City Rail Trail between High and Low Street, right by the Toy Train. Wear clothes that can get wet and messy. We will explore a large variety of materials.
As spring arrives and settles in, Miss Lisa wants to take you through the woods, on the trails, and along the shore to look for creatures, explore, and play. We'll use our "science eyes" and "nature ears" for some outdoor family fun! The session will be spent exploring pond life at Woodsom Farm in Amesbury!
We will explore the woodlands of the Ipswich River Wildlife Sanctuary and learn about the amazing adaptations of animals in winter. In order to survive, winter wildlife must find food and stay warm and you will learn about animal dwellings and practice building your own shelter to see if you have what it takes to survive and thrive in the cold winter.
