The Festival by the Sea is an annual event hosted by the Manchester Division of the Cape Ann Chamber of Commerce, this all-day extravaganza taps into the long-line of local talent with musical and artistic performers alike. Festival by the Sea is a celebration of the things that are synonymous with Cape Ann in the summertime: Art, Music & Food ! Booths will be spread throughout downtown Manchester and Masconomo Park. Your senses will be inspired by the beautiful art, extraordinary live music and the aromas of delicious, local foods.
Enjoy free live music, self-guided orchard walks, hard cider, food trucks, fitness n' family activities AND pick-your-tulips! Festival entrance is free but PRE-PURCHASED tickets for tulip picking REQUIRED. Tulip picking tickets will go live late April-early May as we monitor fields.
Discover Marblehead and the Marblehead Chamber of Commerce are partnering up again for the 2024 Marblehead Spring Celebration! The event is on Saturday, May 11th (rain or shine)! This collaboration provides a festive showcase for local businesses, restaurants, stores, makers and artists all around Marblehead. It’s a great way to get out and enjoy Spring with the whole family. Since 1987, this annual event has entertained guests with music, 100+ craft and fiber artists, demonstrations of traditional shearing and herding dogs, and historic re-enactors on the beautiful grounds of this historic, 50-acre estate. People often tell us that spring doesn't begin until the Sheepshearing Festival! According to Director of Farm and Landscape Operations, Scott Clarke, "We're bringing back our visitors' Festival favorites, like seeing traditional shearing techniques and dog herding demonstrations, and simply enjoying a great time outdoors with family and friends."

Portraits In Silhouette is the combined expertise of silhouette artists and mother-daughter team, Jean Comerford and Marcella Comerford-Foley. Portraits In Silhouette is focused on bringing you original, personalized work, full of inventive detail and creative spark. The silhouettes are never produced with a digital program copied, or traced. You can expect a genuine, hand-cut, and individual portrait each time, with consideration for the subject’s character and those great details – capturing “what makes them who they are.” Whether that is a signature hairstyle, a cowlick, the way they hold their mouth, a bowtie, or glasses, we love to bring out the personality in our portraits. Children of all ages including wigglers are welcome!
