The Generation Games is about people of all ages having a good time playing sports and games together. Playing together has been found to not only promote a healthier society but also helps create understanding. Play is a great equalizer - it doesn’t matter who or what you are, where you come from, or how much money you make. It just matters that you are having fun and learning from the experience. The motto of the Generation Games is “by generations, for generations.” It has a focus on recreation and sport for all, health, education and social issues. Any city can make use of the creative concept: it is shared with cities worldwide. The Generation Games is all about community engagement and international connectivity.

Come to Marini Farm’s Family Day Festival. Enjoy a day at the farm and celebrate Family. This great family fun event includes FREE Pony Rides (11am-3pm), Antique Tractors, Inflatables, Rope Maze, Giant Slide, Pirate Ship, Dump Truck, Jumping Pillow, Cow Train, Hayrides, Duck Races, Games, Raffles & more. Come to Marini Farm Annual Strawberry Festival for their celebration of the strawberry harvest. June is Strawberry Month and Marini Farms' 12 acres of berries begins to produce some of the best tasting strawberries on the North Shore. Marini Farm Annual 2019 Strawberry Festival is a family fun event with activities for all ages including fields of strawberry picking, farm fresh strawberries and strawberry productsand of course fresh strawberry shortcake!

Come on your own, with friends, or bring the whole family to the museum for a special week of programming. The museum has a number of activities and pop-up surprises planned for the week of April 17-23.
