October is Massachusetts Archaeology Month! Participants become archaeologists as they excavate a mock pit with actual tools of the trade and process reproduction artifacts in a field lab. Inside the museum, they explore building archaeology via trap doors. They analyze objects to learn about daily life at the farm over the last three hundred years.
Newburyport Youth Services will host a 'Touch-a-Truck' Event at Cashman Park in Newburyport! Touch-A-Truck is a FREE community event where families are invited to get up close and personal with police cars, fire trucks, ambulances and all kinds of important vehicles! Kids are welcome to climb on, sit in, and explore the trucks! This event is open to all families.
You do not need to Pre Register for this event, but please stop by the NYS Table to sign in and pick up some goodies!

The race, in memory of Amy DiAdamo Foster, is meant to celebrate her life through embracing her passions of both running and spending time outdoors. Equally as important to Amy was the opportunity to gather friends and host a great party so don’t plan on leaving after your race, as music, food and libations are part of the festivities!
