Mark your calendars it's time again for the CAPE ANN SUP TURKEY PADDLE. This race is meant to be fun and bring people together before most of us spend a few months in hibernation! Profits will go to our good friends at The Open Door, who will help fill the bellies of many Cape Ann-ers this holiday season.
The Beverly High School Music Department will host its third annual electronic recycling event on Saturday, November 4 from 8 a.m. to noon at the BHS parking lot. For a fee, drop off your old electronics at the BHS parking lot. Recycle your unwanted televisions, air conditioners, appliances, phones, fire extinguishers and much more. Come celebrate Halloween at the Newbury Town Library. We will be doing crafts all day and handing out candy to all our little trick or treaters! Stop by and show off your costume, do a Halloween craft and get some delicious treats!

Nobuntu is a “Five Part” A’cappella Vocal ensemble made up of young women from Bulawayo, Zimbabwe. The name Nobuntu is an African concept that values humbleness, love, purpose, unity and family from a woman’s perspective. Their repertoire is a fusion of traditional Zimbabwean rooted music, Afro Jazz, Gospel and Crossover in pure voices with minimalistic percussion, traditional instruments such as Mbira and some dance movements.
