Enjoy a Backyard Bug Hunt with our naturalists, join in a Monarch Migration Relay Race, and take home a fun craft or two.
Get to know the residents of a beaver pond! From tiny insects, to the beavers themselves, we'll use all our senses to look for signs of life! Join Greenbelt and Northshore Nature Programs to learn all about a pond habitat! Who lives there? What do they eat? How do they get around? Talewise presents Saving Earth Together, a story and science adventure STEM Program! Two unlikely heroes must learn to WORK TOGETHER to stop a super polluting mastermind. Throughout the story, you’ll help the performer conduct amazing science experiments all about air pressure, the laws of motion, chemical reactions, and much more. You won't want to miss this high energy, interactive, science-based and fun show!
The Trustees of Reservations hosts the Butterfly Encounter in the gardens at Castle Hill Estate in Ipswich Massachusetts. You will hear directly from a giant monarch butterfly puppet, who will recount the adventures growing up in the milkweed patch, metamorphosis and then the amazing journey across continents.
Join Amesbury Public Library for an interactive storytime outdoors with stories, songs, actions, and fun! We'll end with stations around for kids and adults to explore. Storytimes are great ways to build literacy skills and create learning experiences as well as a great social event. Younger siblings are welcome, but please bring children who are in our age range for this program.
APL hosts Imajine That's 'Magnetic Personality'! Explore the power of magnets with a variety of activities that test their strength! Imajine That from Lawrence, MA brings the fun to us with a wonderful science program. Ages 3 to 6 are welcome! Registration is required.
APL hosts 'Imajine That Presents: Science Explorers: Let it Snow!' Kids will learn about that wacky thing called snow. What is snow? What is it made out of? What happens when you bring snow inside? We'll also make a pipe cleaner snowflake craft to take home! Ages 4 to 6 years old. Registration is required.

Come once or make it a multiple-day adventure; drop in for an hour or stay all day for a vacation activity that suits your family schedule.

Browse interactive tabletop exhibits, learn about cool science jobs, and have your questions answered by experts convened by AAAS! This FREE event is open to all, but organized especially for students in grade levels 6 to 12.
