Garden Scavenger Hunt ChallengeCome to a Scavenger Hunt at the Stevens-Coolidge Place in North Andover

Join the The Trustees of Reservations or some family fun this April Vacation week! We’ve got activities all week long! On Friday we will close out the week of activities with a scavenger hunt challenge in the gardens. Work together with your child to follow clues through the gardens and discover hidden treasures among the plants.

Nottingham - an interpretation of the tale of Robin Hood developed on the North Shore of Massachusetts by Stage 284!

Be the first to see this brand new musical now in development here at Stage 284. NOTTINGHAM is an exciting tale based on the iconic Robin Hood legends.  Journey with Robin Hood, Maid Marian, Little John and more as they seek to overthrow the tyrannous rule of Prince John and the Sheriff and their unfair taxes. A true delight for families and people of all ages. This performance was developed locally, and its your chance to take part in the world premier week of performances!

"It's Magic!" Magic Show for the Whole Family! - Enjoy an afternoon of fun, mystery and surprise as four professional magicians from the Boston and North Shore area perform a two - hour show in the Danvers High School Auditorium! Proceeds from This event will support the "DanversBand" as they travel to Hawaii to perform for the 75th anniversary of the attacks on Pearl Harbor.

Zeus's master lightning bolt has been stolen and Percy is the prime suspect.

Allegro Dance Ensemble Presents - The Briar Rose Ballet

Hamilton Wenham Library, Hamilton-Wenham School of Dance

Allegro Dance Ensemble, the resident company of Hamilton-Wenham School of Dance, will perform an original piece called "The Briar Rose Ballet". The ballet tells the story of Sleeping Beauty. After the performance, children will be invited to take a short ballet lesson, learn a dance and have time for free dancing.

This program is open to the public and free of charge. No registration necessary.

BYSO: Rossini's Cinderella

The Boston Youth Symphony Orchestras (BYSO) and the Boston Symphony Orchestra (BSO) will collaborate to present a special family version of Rossini's Cinderella on April 10th! This performance is suitable for children six years of age and older. This production is newly conceived specifically for Symphony Hall and will be sung in English.

Revere Spring Carnival & Fundraiser for North Shore Children and Families

The McCarthy-Trifone Recreation Committee is sponsoring a Spring Carnival Fundraiser from Thursday, March 23 through Sunday, April 17, 2016 at the Showcase cinemas route 60, 565 Squire Road Revere, MA 02151.

The carnival fundraiser will feature rides, games and food. ALL NEW EXPO WHEEL, Vertigo and the Freakout along with many more exciting carnival rides. In addition, there will be a petting zoo daily.

WHEN: The Spring Carnival at the Revere showcase cinemas will be open Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 6:00pm, Tuesday & Thursday 5:00pm, Saturday & Sunday at 1pm.

World Figure Skating Championships

The ISU World Figure Skating Championships will be held at the TD Garden, March 28-April 3, 2016. The World Figure Skating Championships will bring close to 200 skaters from over 30 countries to Boston’s TD Garden to compete for four international titles in four disciplines: Ladies' singles, men's singles, pairs and ice dancing. The Exhibition of Champions will also feature a performance by the world-famous Haydenettes synchronized skating team, based in Lexington.
