Join us on Saturdays this summer for live music from local bands during our Farmhouse Wood-Fired at Appleton Farms. Grab a pizza and beer and a spot on the lawn while enjoying the music and the perfect pizza picnic on the farm. On days with special events, such as our Farmers Markets, Local Beer Tasting and Octoberfest weekend, we will have two bands on Saturdays, 12-2 and 3-5.

These cool creatures have a great story to tell about the life cycle of the forest. You can get as close (or stay as far away!) as you want in this fun, interactive walk through the woods for all ages. This event is FREE.

At this seining demonstration, Salem Sound Coastwatch staff will drag a large seining net through the water onto the beach. We’ll examine the catch and coastal scientists will talk about marine habitats and the ecology of Salem Sound.
Enjoy the view from Stearns Pond as you learn about the moon cycle and its importance to people over the centuries. The easy walk will be enjoyed by beginners and experienced hikers alike.

As spring arrives and settles in, Miss Lisa wants to take you through the woods, on the trails, and along the shore to look for creatures, explore, and play. We'll use our "science eyes" and "nature ears" for some outdoor family fun! The session will be spent exploring pond life at Woodsom Farm in Amesbury!
