The Newburyport Department of Public Health, Division of Community Nursing will sponsor an informational program on ticks and Lyme disease in the Newburyport Public Library’s Program Room. This event will feature three local specialists: Dr. Joseph Gross, Dr. Ames Ziegra and Dr. Esteban Cuebas-Incle.

'Let's Go Fishing' is a Free Fun Family Day at the Parker River National Wildlife Refuge! This day log Family Event introduces kids and families to the world of fish and recreational fishing through fun hands-on activities and instruction. There will be a morning and afternoon session, making this a full day outing, so it's recommended that you pack a lunch and be ready to be outside all day! 

Join The Trustees and Essex River Basin Adventures for a guided kayak paddle of the Crane Wildlife Refuge. During this specialty paddle, we will set off by boat in search of migrating horseshoe crabs in Essex Bay. Price includes kayak rental and equipment, tour guides, and launch fees. Why would you buy candies for Valentine's Day when you can make your own?  Teens in grades 7-12 are invited to Children's Activity Room at the Newburyport Public Library  for a Candy making and cookie decorating workshop! Whether it is for someone else or yourself, these sweets will always taste better than store bought!
