Join Christian Day & Brian Cainwith drumming by the Dragon Ritual Drummers as Witches from around the globe gather for the sacred and magical ritual of Halloween! This event is free and open to all who wish to attend with an open heart and a love for their dead. There is also no limit on the number of participants.
Join Historic New England for Wicked Wednesdays! Get wicked at Phillips House as part of Haunted Happenings family-friendly events. Ticket includes historic games, fall crafts, and a family- themed tour of the house. Coxstumes Welcome! This is a drop-in event. Tours are offered every half-hour. Last tour departs at 5:00 p.m.
After your trick or treating is over, head over to Salem for the free fireworks show over the North River that will close out another great October of Halloween fun brought to you by Haunted Happenings!
Come and have a fun and spooky evening in the woods with the whole family! This event, for children ages 1-10, will offer activities and games hosted by some of our fantastic Rec staff. Safe for those of you who love Halloween, but don’t want the scares.
Come to Marini Farm for our most popular event of the year. Take a Hayride around our 7 acre corn maze. Your hayride driver will make some special stops along the way. Favorite costumed characters await the wagon to hand out Tricks and Treats. Hayrides run continuously from 10am to 4pm. Riders are welcome to wear costumes. Also includes admission to the Maze Park/Corn Maze area.
Come to Connors Farm to find your way through this year's maze and enjoy many family fun activities! After completing the maze, stay and have some fun around the farm. Children enjoy apple and pumpkin picking, hayrides, and most of all, visiting the barnyard animals.

Due to a fire on the fireworks barge, the 2024 fireworks display and harbor illumination in Marbelehead Harbor has been canceled as a preecaution! bargeIndependence Day in Marblehead is a full-day affair along the picturesque harbor front. Start the day at 10 am with the Horribles Parade, a whimsical procession of unique and often creatively opinionated homemade floats, accompanied by lively music and other festive elements. As the day progresses, the waterfront and downtown come alive with music, food, and family-friendly activities. The day culminates with the Harbor Illumination and Fireworks.
