In celebration of the opening of the new Arts of Korea Gallery and Korean Buddhist Paintings exhibition at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston (MFA), the Museum is hosting Korea Foundation Day on Friday, November 16, from 3 p.m. to 9:45 p.m.
Activities include tours of the Arts of Korea Gallery in Korean and English, a talk by artist Kang Ik-Joong, and musical performances by the percussion group Gong Myoung. These programs are free with Museum admission and children 17 and younger are free.

Grab a blanket and the kids and head over to Salem Common at dusk for an outdoor showing of some favorite family-friendly movies that will get you in the mood for a spooktacular Halloween! Each weekend Radio 92.9 will sponsor a different movie through October, so come to one or all!

Kimball Farm's Haunted Halloween Maze is among the scariest in the area and this year will grow to cover 4 acres of spooky fun. Dress warmly for the haunted hayride, it is the beginning of your scary adventure. Once at the halloween maze, you will be haunted by ghosts and ghouls of all kinds, so be prepared to scream!

The Children's Museum of NH is offering a special limited-time interactive exhibit this summer called Colossal Construction. From July 16 - September 2, families can explore this new maker-space to build and create using thousands of K'nex building pieces and other materials. There will be daily challenges and opportunities to add onto community construction projects like roller coasters or build something completely new. There will also be building activities that use other kinds of materials. All of these activities are included with paid admission ($9 adults/children, $8 seniors) and free for museum members.

Mother's Day is a special day for children to take the time to say thank you to Mom. Families get together and celebrate, laugh, have fun and enjoy each others company. The Hawthorne Hotel makes it an especially nice get together with the sumptuous brunch service they offer for Mother's Day. The brunch, menu is abundant with a larger variety of offerings and caters to all types of guests.

Admission for Christmas & Lantern Tours is: adults $12.50, seniors 65 and older or AAA Members $11.50, children age 5-12 $7.50, children under five free, and member discount $2.00/ticket.
