Marblehead Gingerbread Workshop for Kids

Kids are invited to come make their own entries for the Marblehead Gingerbread Festival!

Kids are invited to the The Marblehead Museum & Historical Society for a gingerbread workshop! Come create your own entry for the 2023 Marblehead Gingerbread Festival.  Two workshops are schedule for kids ages 2-4 (with adult) at 1pm and kids 5-10 are at 3pm.  Registration required.

Cozy Crafts and Ice Cream Sundaes for Teens

Teens will use fleece to make winter crafts at the Abbot Library in Marblehead!

The Abbot Public Library invites teens are invited to warm up at the library by making fleece hats, hand warmers, and cozy cup holders. We provide the materials, you provide the creativity. Once you're nice and toasty, make your own ice cream sundae and dream that it is summer outside. No sign-ups necessary. Please let us know if you'll be attending so that we have enough refreshments for all, by stopping by the Library or calling the main desk.

Join a pumpkin decorating workshop in Marblehead at the Clifton Lutheran Church

Please join us for pumpkin decorating, face painting, music, cider donuts and more! Decorated pumpkins may be left to be submitted into the MFF's Pumpkin Illumination on 10/24 (for a chance to win prizes!). Admission include everything needed to decorate a pumpkin! Hosted by the Marblehead Family Fund and the Marblehead Recreation Department.

Abbott Library in Marblehead hosts a fun recycling activity with Barbara Roy

How long does trash last? Come to the library for a fun recycling activity with Barbara Roy! Kids will learn what kinds of trash last and for how long a time, and how to protect sea creatures by keeping that trash out of the ocean. Barbara Roy is a 20-year Marblehead resident who recently crossed the Atlantic on a scientific mission to study micro-plastics. Children are invited to this interactive program, chosen as part of our Green Paws activity series.
