Parent & Child Rosebud Classes at Waldorf at Moraine Farm
A class for parents with newborns up to age 6 months. Topics covered in class include: developmental stages in babies, warmth and how to dress your baby, sleep, rhythm, foundational senses (sense of touch, well being/life, movement, balance), observation, babywearing, new identity as a parent, nursing, lullabies, and rhythmic games.
5-week program meets on Tuesdays from 12:30 to 2:00 pm.

Nursery and Kindergarten Outdoor Nature Walk
Join us for an outdoor nature walk to explore the our historic and beautiful campus and learn more about Waldorf School at Moraine Farm's nursery and kindergarten programs. Led by our early childhood teachers, this outdoor exploration provides interested and current families and students a glimpse into the joy, wonder and health giving qualities of nature-based education.
This nature walk will begin in the nursery play yard on Wednesday, October 9, 2019 from 1:30 to 2:30 pm., with a circle, then we will explore the field and forest.
Open House: Windows into the World of Waldorf
On Saturday, October 5, Waldorf School at Moraine Farm in Beverly will host an Open House starting at 10am where visitors will experience the value of Waldorf education for themselves.
Windows Into the World of Waldorf is an excellent way for families to experience what a Waldorf education offers, how a child learns in a Waldorf environment, and how Waldorf School at Moraine Farm differentiates from all other public and private schools in the area.
Nature Scavenger Hunt at Berwick Academy
Join us at Berwick Academy on Sunday, October 6, 2019 from 1–3 p.m. for a creative, nature-based exploration of Berwick’s campus, while learning what makes our PK–4 Lower School a special place to learn and play.
Parents and children will engage in various learning adventures during this creative campus nature tour, while enjoying the Hilltop’s natural sights, sounds, and scents. Families will connect with teachers and current students in the process, with prizes and takeaways included in the experience.
Past scavenger hunts have included a creative campus nature tour, story time in our library, movement activities, outdoor and nature-based art, building in our Fabrication Studio, and more. Interact with Berwick’s teachers and students, snack on some healthy treats, learn about our project-based teaching and learning, and receive prizes and giveaways! We welcome you to our campus for this experience – rain or shine!
