Calling all ages! Create a diorama, using those deliciously sweet, marshmallow Peeps as your main characters. Let your imagination run to peeps as you illustrate your favorite book or movie. Bags of peeps are available at the library (while supplies last), or supply your own.
Ipswich Public Library hosts Curious Creatures, New England's original interactive and educational live animal program. Their staff of experienced and professional exhibitors teach respect and appreciation for exotic and unusual animals. The presentation is hands-on, interactive and can be tailored to meet your individual needs. The Annual Winter Lights on Cape Ann is a festive event celebrating the holiday season, running from late November through New Year's Day. Over 100 local businesses in Gloucester, Essex, Ipswich, Manchester-by-the-Sea, and Rockport are participating by decorating their storefronts with lights and creative displays. A decorating contest is back by popular demand, allowing visitors to vote for their favorite decorated business in each of the five communities.
