Summer Special at Gloucester Karate Academy

Gloucester Karate Academy is offering a Summer special for new students looking to try the martial arts.

Gloucester Uechi Karate Academy is running a great Summer special for adults and children! For just $89, you can join the academy classes for a month of group classes starting in June, July or August.  This special offer includes two introductory private lessons and a karate uniform. A full schedule of classes is designed to cater to busy families. To enroll in this wonderful opportunity to gain life skills and have fun at the same time, please call or email the school.

Young at Art at CAM

Young at art is a program for toddlers at the Cape ann museum in Gloucester Massachusetts

Bring your toddler to Cape Ann Museum on the second Thursday of each month from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. for Young at Art, a gallery-based storytime! Recommended for children ages 4 and younger with an adult. This drop-in program is free for members or with Museum admission. Apply for the Carolyn O'Connor Scholarship for women looking to improve their life through education and training

The Cape Ann Chamber of Commerce's Businesswomen’s Committee has established this scholarship to help Cape Ann area women achieve their continuing education and career goals. Carolyn O’Connor was the first chairperson of the Businesswomen’s Committee, a community activist and a previous member of the Gloucester City Council. This scholarship honors her dedication to and involvement with the Businesswomen and the Chamber over the years. Organized in 1986, the Businesswomen’s group is committed to the growth of Cape Ann businesses and the professional development of the Chamber’s women members.

United States Coast Guard Station Gloucester is having an open house and safe boating day! Stop by and learn all about the Coast Guard and its important role in Gloucester. The United States Coast Guard Station Gloucester annual Safe Boating Day Open House will feature local marine vendors, safe boating displays, flare demonstrations, tours of Coast Guard vessels, and more.
