Girls Inc. Bowl-a-Thon

Proceeds for the Girls Inc. bowl-a-thon will go to fund Girls Inc programs.

The Girls Inc. Bowl-A-Thon is a fundraising event for girls between the ages of 9 - 18, to benefit Girls Inc. of the Seacoast Area. The event will take place on Saturday, May 14 at Gametime Lanes and Entertainment in Amesbury, MA.  Proceeds will support Girls Inc. programming in our local schools.

Diaper drive for families in need

Happy Baby Diaper Drive is a yoga event to benefit Citizens for Adequate Housing of Peabody. In lieu of a class fee, we are collecting diapers for our homeless families. All diaper sizes are needed, from newborn to size six. One in three families in America struggle to afford diapers for their children. A lack of diapers has many negative outcomes for children and families’ health, economic and emotional welfare, and educational opportunities. Please support this important event.

Annual Running Well 5k

Run or Walk this 5k race in Beverly Massachusetts, and help raise funds to bring water to people who desperately need it

Come to Beverly to race for a great cause! All race proceeds will be used by The Running Well Ministry at Calvary Christian Church to build another well in Africa in 2016. The cost to build a well is over $10,000. One well can make the quality of life so much better for hundreds of children and adults, many of whom must spend hours daily to procure potable water. Whether you run or walk, your effort will provide a source of clean water for those who don't have access to it.  Race day sign up begins at 8:30

Revere Spring Carnival & Fundraiser for North Shore Children and Families

The McCarthy-Trifone Recreation Committee is sponsoring a Spring Carnival Fundraiser from Thursday, March 23 through Sunday, April 17, 2016 at the Showcase cinemas route 60, 565 Squire Road Revere, MA 02151.

The carnival fundraiser will feature rides, games and food. ALL NEW EXPO WHEEL, Vertigo and the Freakout along with many more exciting carnival rides. In addition, there will be a petting zoo daily.

WHEN: The Spring Carnival at the Revere showcase cinemas will be open Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 6:00pm, Tuesday & Thursday 5:00pm, Saturday & Sunday at 1pm.

North Shore’s 37th Annual Good Friday Walk

Join the Beverly Good Friday Walk and raise funds to benefit families in need on the North Shore!

Register for North Shore’s 37th Annual Good Friday Walk and help needy families in the North Shore. This year, funds are needed more than ever and any walker who raises at least $20 will be given a commemorative walk t – shirt. The 10.5 mile walk will start at St. John the Evangelist School and proceed to the Baptist Church in Downtown Beverly, then continue on to the Church in the Cove and St. Margaret’s Church in Beverly Farms. Walkers will follow the same route back to St. John’s.

Shampoo Drive for Beverly Bootstraps

On February 28th from 12 to 2:30 pm at Shaws of North Beverly and Stop and Shop on Elliot St., a group of six grade students from Briscoe Middle School will be accepting donations for their shampoo drive. The students are part of a group called Destination Imagination. This is a club that works on team building and problem solving. These students will be competing in a tournament in March and they must complete a community service challenge. This year, the DI group is partnering with Beverly Bootstraps to host a shampoo drive.
