On Saturday, April 13 at 10:30 a.m., Abbot Public Library will feature the newest Disney Animation about a young woman named Asha who must work together with a fallen star to make her dreams come true and defeat the ruthless ruler who threatens the safety of her local community.
Salem Public Library hosts a morning session of LEGO fun! We provide the LEGO, you provide the imagination. Stop by the library on Saturday mornings (every other Saturday) to play and build. Open to kids 4+ (with caregivers). Siblings welcome.
North Shore Children's Museum hosts Curious Creatures, New England's original interactive and educational live animal program. Their staff of experienced and professional exhibitors teach respect and appreciation for exotic and unusual animals. The presentation is hands-on, interactive and can be tailored to meet your individual needs. We include interesting facts and stories about our creatures in an educational and entertaining environment.
Kids of all ages! Enjoy a Spring Scavenger Hunt in Children's Room. If they find all of the scavenger hunt items, they can choose a shiny prize from the Treasure Chest! Sponsored by the Danvers' SEPAC in collaboration with the Peabody Institute Library of Danvers. Registration in the event is optional, but will help us ensure that we have enough prizes! Kids who do not register may participate.

Ages 4 - 11. Kids, read to Bentley, our therapy dog friend from B.O.N.E.S.! Bring some books with you or select them from the Children's Room to read to our friendly dog buddy. You'll have 15 minutes to read to our canine companion, who will happily enjoy your stories. This helps to build reading fluency and confidence! Great for reluctant readers! One child per time slot, please.
Do YOU have what it takes? Join us over April Vacation on Thursday, April 18 at 11:00am for a variety of 1-minute S.T.E.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) challenges and compete against the clock for fun prizes! Designed for children ages 5 and up. No registration is necessary.
