Thursday, March 28th, from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Cape Ann Waldorf School welcomes parents to visit Kindergarten to observe the Waldorf curriculum in action. Learn about the Waldorf approach to Kindergarten by observing the children in their daily rhythm and ask questions of the CAWS faculty.
There will be a Q & A with Cape Ann Waldorf School faculty. This is an adults only session.

The Phillips Academy Music Department will present a concert of Faculty Jazz Ensembles. This concert, free and open to the public, will take place in the Timken Room at Graves Hall on the Phillips Academy campus, 180 Main Street, Andover. Graves Hall is handicapped accessible. The Phillips Academy Music Department presents the Academy Jazz Band. Directed by Peter Cirelli, the Jazz Band is a typical Big Band format performing the repertoire of the Swing era as well as contemporary Latin jazz and jazz/rock infusion.

All are warmly welcome to attend the Cape Ann Waldorf School Spring Concert in the Great Hall of the school. The evening will feature a performance of the CAWS Middle School Orchestra and solo and duet performances by the Eighth Graders. This will be a great performance with music by Vivaldi, music from ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’, a ‘Rhumba’, a contemporary piece entitled ‘Rondo at the Station’, and the music from ‘Mission Impossible’. It will be a joyous evening of music not to be missed.
Brookwood School is proud to host its fourth PMC Kids Ride. We hope to hit the $15,000 mark with funds raised by kids in Manchester, Massachusetts and the twenty-six surrounding communities represented by riders in past years. Many kids, many bikes, one mission: cure cancer. Kids of all ages find fun, camaraderie, and inspiration in bringing us closer by the mile to the cure for cancer with donations to the Jimmy Fund at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
Bees are in trouble and humans can help. Within the past few years, a syndrome has been destroying bee colonies world-wide in a cycle referred to as Colony Collapse Disorder. In 'Queen of the Sun', director Taggart Siegel explores the world of bees and looks for answers to the sudden crisis that is threatening bee populations around the planet. Come to this screening at the Waldorf School at Moraine Farm on the The Trustees of Reservations Moraine Farm to learn more about the bees' plight and Moraine Farm's plan to make a difference for the bees.
