Explore The Trustees of Reservations Appleton Farms and learn about its rich history!

Do you know what the highest point at Appleton Farms is? It’s Pigeon Hill, and it offers some of the most spectacular views of the farm and, especially, the Great Pasture. Join Appleton Farms staff for a guided hike to this special spot on the property, we’ll look over the Great Pasture and you’ll learn about this important part of Appleton Farms and why it’s such an integral part of what we do.

Disney Pixar Cars at tthe Plum Island Drive-In in Newburyport Massachusetts

Enjoy a beautiful night on at the ocean's edge at the Plum Island Beach parking lot converted into a 'Drive-in'. Grab your friends or family, jump in the car and head over to Plum Island for a weekend of drive-in movies to kick off this summer! All proceeds to benefit the Newburyport Youth Services scholarship funds. This showing will be Cars!  A hot-shot race-car named Lightning McQueen gets waylaid in Radiator Springs, where he finds the true meaning of friendship and family.

During the summer, enjoy free concerts in the Cape Ann Museum Courtyard at 27 Pleasant Street, Gloucester, on Thursdays from 5:00-7:00 pm. Offered as part of the city-wide Culture Splash, the Courtyard Concerts feature local and regional musicians whose music ranges from salsa to sea shanties, bluegrass to jazz, and reggae to folk.

Pride Outside Hike Series: Ward Reservation

Ward Reservation Pride Outside Hike Series hosted by the Trustees of Reservations

Come and explore Ward Reservation with The Trustees and McVAGLY (Merrimack Valley Alliance of GLBT Youth) on this evening hike. Ward Reservation boasts 12 miles of trails and the highest point in Essex County where we’ll catch the sunset upon the conclusion of our hike. Among the highlights of the walk will be the quaking bog, scenic vistas and historic apple orchards. We will enjoy the beauty of June in New England, learn some basic plant identification, and also enjoy an activity provided by our friends at ReVision Energy.
