Every year, Glover's Regiment hosts a summer encampment at Marblehead's historic Fort Sewall. This picturesque fort sits on a rock bluff overlooking Marblehead Harbor and Salem Bay, providing a stunning backdrop for the event. St. Michael's holds its famous Lobster Luncheon during the Marblehead Festival of Arts over the Fourth of July weekend. All proceeds from the luncheon, after expenses, support local and global ministries. Tours of St. Michael's historic building and a free organ concert are typically offered during this event.

Abbot Public Library will feature the fantasy musical film following the story of Willy Wonka, the famous but eccentric chocolatier based on the character from Roald Dahl's novel. The narrative traces his beginnings as a young adult who started as an employee selling chocolate in a store until he eventually became driven to enter the chocolate industry. This film acts as a prequel to the 1971 film adaptation of Dahl's novel. This movie is suggested for children ages 6 and up.
