Actress Carole Finn brings the enchanting story of Mary Poppins to life as she interacts with the children in character, and tells us all about Jane and Michalel's adventures with their magical nanny! Finish off her visit by making a chalk drawing! All welcome!
Gloucester Meetinghouse Foundation hosts a fun day of film and community fun for families at Cape Ann Community Cinema! It opens with refreshments at 10:00am and runs to 4:00pm. The event features two great movies plus games, prizes, face-painting, presentations, making indoor snowmen from white socks (bring extras!) and a pizza lunch. Please note this event is free for kids (best for ages 6-12) and their parents/guardians, thanks to the generosity of our Series Sponsors.
Play Minecraft with other children grades 1-5 (ages 6 and up) Learn new tricks from each other and explore and build in a world together. This group is for children in grades 1 and up. Due to our child safety policy, at least one parent per session will need to volunteer to stay in the room the entire time of the program, from 3:30-4:30. Please register for just one session per month. If registration is full, please sign up on the wait list and we will schedule you soon!

A fun-filled yoga class for preschoolers. Little yogis use their imaginations to enjoy an introduction to the sun salutations, games, stories, breath work, and movement! A great way to release some energy, improve strength, and gain flexibility....and return to your arms relaxed and restored.
Please bring a water bottle. Parents or caregivers feel free to stay and watch your little yogi move!

Pick up the last of the season’s produce, food items to get you you through the busy days ahead, and handmade gifts for all. This year we are sponsoring a Holiday Food Drive for The Open Door-our goal is to collect 100 items at the market by noon-help us reach our goal-bring in 10 items or more and receive a free CAFM Tote.

Children, in grades 1-5, who are struggling with reading are invited to read with Coco! Certified reading therapy dog Coco, and her owner Randi, will visit the library twice a month to help children practice reading and gain confidence. Six 10 minute slots (3 per day) will be available for children to read aloud to Coco one-on-one. Children may bring their own book or use a library book.
Come to the Children’s Room for a LEGO Family Build. We’ll provide the LEGOs; you provide the family and the building ideas. Bring your smart phone or camera to snap some photos of your creations as we will build, then take it all apart!
