Come out and be part of Beverly Regional Airport's air show! Experience World War II history on the ground and in the air with the Wings of Freedom Tour! See our original WWII warbirds up-close and personal with walk through tours of authentically restored interiors of the B-17 Flying Fortress and B-24 Liberator and see the B-25 Mitchell, P-51 Mustang, and P-40 Warhawk on the ramp as well.
Come to the library parking lot for a festival of transportation! Brought to you by the fire, police, and public works departments of Hamilton and Wenham, Dodge Tree Service, and Lyons Ambulance. This is a rain or shine event. Families of all ages are welcome, no registration necessary.
Vehicle Day and Hot Dog Picnic will be on July 29 from 10 a.m. to noon. Police cars, fire trucks, construction vehicles and much more, in the parking lot of the Ascension Memorial Church. The Hot Dog Picnic is on the front lawn of the library. The Boston Bruins have teamed up with libraries across the Commonwealth to encourage kids and teens to keep reading over the summer. Bruins mascot Blades will visit Vehicle Day.
Join us on Sunday, July 24th from 10-1 PM at Lynn Marketplace for the Touch-A-Truck event. This is a fun-filled event for kids to get up close and explore the vehicles they've seen in the City of Lynn. In addition to being a family-friendly, FREE event, patrons will have a chance to meet the professionals from the City of Lynn and the Lynn Chamber of Commerce in a safe, positive environment. All safety protocols will be followed.
Come celebrate the City of Peabody’s first annual downtown bazaar! Sponsored by the Peabody Institute Library and the new Peabody Downtown Association, this bazarr will celebrate communtiy and the new improvements in the downtown on Main Stree and Peabody Square.
Mark your calendars! Saturday November 4, 2017 at 10AM-2PM Open House! There will be station tours, touch-a-truck, the smoke trailer, jaws of life, and a technical rescue demonstration.
TOHP Burnham Public Library invites kids to a Touch-a-Truck event. Kids of all ages, join us behind the Essex Fire Station to meet and greet all sorts of vehicles! Fire Trucks, Police Cars, Emergency vehicles, Mail trucks, Construction vehicles and Utility trucks.
The Ipswich Fire Department, Police Department, and Action Ambulance will be hosting a carseat checkpoint at fire headquarters. Come on in and get your car seat checked to see if it's properly installed and if you need a new one we have those as well thanks to a Grant provided to us From Institution For Savings. We will also have emergency vehicles here for the kids to be able to walk around and look at.
