The Wenham Tea House is joining forces with the Wenham Museum to host an Alice in Wonderland Tea in Recognition of the Museum’s 'Pop Goes the Book Exhibit. Give your child a memory that will last a lifetime at a tea with their favorite storybook character and a visit to the museum.
The Harvard Museum of Natural History presents a multi-media exhibition that explores the natural history and ecology of our regional forests, their responses to human activity, and their environmental significance. Visitors are invited to explore the ecology of woodland caribou, wolves, and other wildlife of New England; learn about lichen cities that cling to rocks; and the circle of life within and around a forest pond from tiny aquatic insects to giant moose.
Beloved local author and illustrator Ed Emberley and his daughter Rebecca present a special exhibit of illustrations from their collection of frightfully-friendly Monster books. This award-winning author-illlustrator team uses brightly colored simple geometric shapes and thumbprints to teach young artists the basics of drawing. Young visitors will delight in the silly stories and playful images the Emberly's use to help demystify the imaginary world of monsters.

Second Friday Programs are FREE and are oriented for open exploration with opportunities to attend performances, demonstrations, and lectures through out the museum galleries. Shoemaker and the Elves Puppet Show at Wenham Museum tells the story of the clasic Grimm's fairy tale. The full-scale marionette performance with harpsichord accompaniment performed by the Cape Ann Waldorf School Magical Strings Puppet Troupe.

Have a “rail” fun time watching trains traversing bridges, disappearing into tunnels, and stopping to pick up tiny passengers along the way as we celebrate the art of miniature railroading. Train fans will delight in two room-size model train layouts with engines racing around a 400+ square foot O-Gauge track reminiscent of holiday department store displays and a 1920s Standard Gauge layout.
