On Saturday, May 4, Wenham Museum and honorary chairman Rita Cary, morning host of 92.5 The River, invite friends of the museum and members of the community to a seaside, Birthday Gala to celebrate 90 years of sustained support of the museum.
The night will begin with the Kentucky Derby pre-party where guests will view the 2013 Running of the Roses in the elegant, seaside mansion at the Misselwood Estate at Endicott in Beverly. Guests will enjoy traditional Kentucky Derby cuisine and cocktails and view a selection of 1920s-era artifacts from the Wenham Museum's collection. Guest will then head to the tent to whirl the night away in 1920s-style with festive fare, cocktails, and dancing!

Proceeds from the Gala support the museum’s mission to protect, preserve and interpret the artifacts of childhood, domestic life, and the history and culture of Boston’s North Shore.
Since 1922, Wenham Museum has introduced hundreds of thousands of visitors to the history of New England family life through engaging and educational exhibits and programs. The museum’s 90th Birthday Gala is an occasion to celebrate the sustained support of the local community, museum members and volunteers and to ensure that the legacy continues for the generations to come.
