Families are invited to come celebrate Earth Day at the Children's Museum of NH

Earth Day is celebrated in a big way at the Children’s Museum of NH, with a focus on learning how to support a healthy planet. The museum will be hopping with a variety of demonstrations, activities and information as we celebrate Earth Day! With the help of some special guests from around our community, visitors will get their hands dirty while learning about our Earth, the environment, our local ecosystem and much more! All Earth Day activities are included with paid admission and free for museum members

Family Poetry Festival at PEM

The Family Poetry Festival at PEM is a fun way for families to celebrate poetry!

Peabody Essex Museum invites families to join them in a celebration of Poetry and all things poetic! Words and artworks intermingle as PEM welcomes the fifth annual Massachusetts Poetry Festival. The event brings together poets and poetry lovers of all ages for a rich array of offerings including readings, interactive art, music and performances.

Felts & Fibers: A Wool Festival at PEM

Peabody Celebrates wool and the things we make from it in a weekend festival!

Peabody Essex Museum celebrates the world of wool and the products that are created from this raw material in a weekend-long festival! There have been many uses for wool throughout history and across cultures dating back as far as 6000 B.C.E. Wool is made from the hair or fleece of certain animals such as sheep, goats, llamas - and even rabbits! Come explore where wool comes from as part of PEM's ongoing Art Materials and Creative Experience program.

LEGO® Fans bring your creative genius to this day of fun! Let your imagination loose on our huge collection of LEGO blocks.  Build a tiny car to race or a flying saucer for outer space. Legos are a lot of fun; bring your kids to this brick-fest of fun! Come early and tour the galleries featuring a model train gallery, doll and toy collection, textiles and our 17th-century house.
