Meet the Character

Queen Elsa from Disney's Frozen comes to life at Manchester Public Library with Carole Finn Weidman! Children will enjoy a live portrayal of the captivating character, Elsa, from Frozen on Wednesday, June 4th, 2 p.m., in the Children’s Room of the Manchester Public Library.

Be a part of your favorite fairy tale portrayed by actress, Carole Finn-Weidman! Music, story, entertainment to tie in with the popular story. Learn about where the tale began, come in costume if you like! All ages invited, especially for Preschool through 2nd grade!

The Children's Museum of New Hampshire hosts an all ages maker workshop! Join Alex Nunn of Seacoast Makers to learn how to solder, make a robot badge and build an LED light that can be controlled by a switch. Fee: $10 per adult or adult/child pair, plus $6 materials fee. The Children's Museum of New Hampshire is welcoming colossal canine Clifford The Big Red Dog  As part of the Books Alive program. Museum staff will be reading a variety of Clifford stories written by Norman Bridwell throughout the day. The big friendly dog himself will be popping in and out to greet children, exchange a hug or high-five, and pose for photos. There will also be a variety of dog-inspired literacy, math and creative activities for children to participate in.

Straight from the pages of the beloved children’s book, costumed character Corduroy will be visiting the Children’s Museum of New Hampshire as part of the Books Alive program, ready to greet young fans and help promote the love of reading.
