Join Newburyport artisan and re-maker Pam Farren teaches techniques to create one-of-a-kind prints using recycled styrofoam trays, paper and ink. Stop by and try your hand at making a miniature work of art! This is a Free program in the Children's Activity Room and all materials are provided, but you're encouraged to bring styrofoam trays from home to use or share.

Splish Splash Science is an active, fun, program where you and your child will learn all about water properties such as sinking, floating, surface tension, buoyancy, and waterproofing. Using fun props and lots of hands on science, we’ll look at everything from ducks to scuba divers and how water works!
This parent/child program is designed for the creative, curious, and active preschooler. Each 90-minute session offers a structured series of activities including original songs, movement, dramatic play, hands-on science, and a thematic snack. When it's time to go home, you'll receive coloring pages, song lyrics, vocabulary, a fun fact sheet, and a suggested reading list via email.
