Learn about the Folly Cove Designers' process, then get to work in the Children's Activity Center. Explore the Folly Cove Designs, create prints using stamps, foam shapes and styrofoam. Kids ages 3-10 are invited to Jungle Jim's Ghostbuster Academy at ipswich Public Library! Wear costumes to this Halloween program held in the gym at Ipswich Town Hall. The program is sponsored by the Friends of the Ipswich Public Library. It is free of charge and no registration is required. Jim Manning (previously offered Super Hero Training) will train young ghost hunters in the rigors of being an official ghostbusters - silly, not scary!
Star Wars and Interplanetary Crafts for kids and teens at Ipswich Public Library. Drop-In between 2:30 and 4:30 and choose between a variety of crafts. Children ages 8 and older may attend independently. Younger children should be accompanied by a caregiver.
Maudslay State Park invites you for a close-up view of a live owl and her babies in the nest, through a
spotting scope. Plus visit the park interpreter’s table to learn more about this raptor and see
skulls, feathers and owl pellets. Bring binoculars for better viewing of the nest. All ages are
welcome! Follow the signs from the parking lot to the field site.
