War of 1812 Day at Salem Maritime National Historic Site! Salem Maritime will be celebrating the Bicentennial of the War of 1812 with living history programming throughout the day. Meet some of Salem's 19th century citizens, and hear their views on this controversial war. Family activities and Junior Ranger programs will be offered all day.
The Magnolia Road Show is a sale, auction and appraisal service hosted by the Magnolia Historical Society that is intended to raise funds for the purchase of the Blynman School on Magnolia Avenue. This massive sale of thousands of items acquired by the Historical Society is a way to purge their inventory and take steps to preserve a landmark in the village of Magnolia.

The Newbury Town Library invites kids to come and learn about electronics and basic circuits using the Arduino microcomputer and software. In this workshop for budding engineers or any young person wanting to learn about electronics, basic circuits will be explained and instructions given on how to build a simple robot.
Nothing to do after school on a Friday half day? Come to the Newbury Town Library for a movie! On Triton School District Half-Days (Professional Days), The Newbury Town Library will be showing movies at 1pm. Popcorn and water will be served. What better way to spend a summer afternoon then at Appleton Farms! Carrot Club us is our drop in, pop-up program outside the Appleton Farm Store every Tuesday and Thursday from 2-4pm. Drop in anytime between 2 and 3:45 for a fun farm craft, story or game. Activities will change every session so there is always something fun to try! Activities will average 15-20 minutes and will be guided by our farm educator. Make it a fun stop during your visit before exploring the Farm Store, picking up your CSA share, or taking a walk to visit our barnyard animals.
