Celebrate the cultural diversity of Salem Massachusetts at the Fiesta en la Calle
This beloved event is back after 4 years! Fiesta en la Calle is North Shore CDC’s annual festival celebrating the vibrant culture of the Point neighborhood that includes live music, dancing, art and the premiere of a new collection of murals in the Punto Urban Art Museum by New England based artists and Point residents. The annual Block Party celebrates the diverse community and culture of the people who live and work there.

Come for the day and enjoy live music, food trucks, a bootlegger’s garden and picnicking on the lawn! Schedule a 30-minute guided Great House tour set in 1929. A Crane maid or footman will show you guest and family rooms. Advance tour reservations and additional fee are required.

Spend a day with us in celebration of Choate Island – the crown jewel of the Crane Wildlife Refuge. Here deer and foxes roam through fields that once housed herds of sheep, and osprey fly over breathtaking views of Essex Bay. The island was first home to indigenous farmers and fishers, then to generations of the Choate family, and was later a retreat for Cornelius and Miné Crane, who loved the place so much they decided to be buried at the summit.
