Join Amesbury Public Library for an interactive storytime outdoors with stories, songs, actions, and fun! We'll end with stations around for kids and adults to explore. Storytimes are great ways to build literacy skills and create learning experiences as well as a great social event. Younger siblings are welcome, but please bring children who are in our age range for this program.

This family-friendly event gives 100% of race proceeds and donations to Mass General Cancer Center for Thoracic Cancer Research under the direction of Dr. Justin Gainor. MGH is deeply committed to rapidly bringing advances to their patients and is making remarkable progress in identifying genetic mutations and developing targeted therapies for lung cancer. Activate the young explorer within your child on the Trustees' Garden Explorers programs, a series of drop-in activities held each month on different themes. The Chess Club at the library will be an informal gathering of students interested in playing chess with others. A knowledge of how to play chess is recommended. Students in 3rd – 6th grade are invited to sign up. The chess boards and pieces will be provided. No instruction will be available at this event.
