Read to Keeva the Therapy Dog! Keeva and her trainer, Ms. Fleming, visit the library to help children practice reading! Therapy dogs provide a calm and non-judgemental environment that's perfect for practicing read-aloud skills. Open to children in Grades K - 3. Registration is required. Reading time slots are 10 minutes in length. Arrive early to choose a favorite book or bring your own to read! Space is limited. Registration is required.
The knitting group at the Hamilton-Wenham Public Library welcomes experienced & beginning knitters and crochet folk. Grab your project bag and drop in for knit night! Enjoy conversation and creativity as you work alongside other yarn crafters. All are welcome; no registration required.
Come play with a variety of building toys, including magnetic tiles and straws and connectors. Kids of all ages and abilities are welcome, but please take note that some of these building toys have small pieces. Drop in any time between 3:00 and 4:30 p.m. to participate.

Kids are invited to come to NPL to make their own custom birdfeeders. Make your neighborhood birds happy! We’ll create super-simple feeders with pipe cleaners & cereal.
Do you like Pokemon? Would you like to hang out with other kids who like Pokemon? You can bring your cards, see what others have, or play Pokemon. No prior knowledge is necessary. Registration is requested, but you are welcome to drop in if you forget to register!
Come play in a Dungeons and Dragons ongoing campaign! You'll create your own characters and build the story session to session. Come if you're a beginner or if you know the rules. All are welcome! Registration is required and is for all 7 weeks. The sessions take place every other Wednesday for 2 hours.
Join us at the Library to watch the solar eclipse! We will have eclipse glasses to give away at the event and activities for kids, teens, families, and adults to learn about eclipses and why they happen. We will have a nearly total eclipse so you can come at the beginning and stay through or stop by for however long.
Put your imagination and building skills to the test at this self-directed drop-in program. All ages are welcome with a caregiver.
