Heidi Dallin's Youth Acting Workshops at the Gloucester Stage Company are a fantastic introduction to theatre basics, and a great way for kids to further their performing arts. Ms. Dallin's workshops are designed to provide young people who possess a variety of abilities and levels of interest an outlet to develop self-confidence, communication and teamwork skills.

Now through January 31, 2012, anybody is welcome to download their 'Holiday Pass', that includes two private lessons, two weeks of group classes and a free 'gi' (a karate training uniform).

Gloucester Stage Youth Acting Workshops are a great place for kids to have fun and learn skills necessary in professional theatre! The workshops include basic acting techniques, theatre games, improvisation, movement, vocal and physical expression, non-verbal communication after physical expression, character study, storytelling, public speaking training, and a technical theater & stagecraft component. Full or partial scholarships are readily available!

The proposed nature center will encourage learning by doing and responsibility

Jessica Kagle, founder of Kestrel Educational Adventures, has entered the Green Awards contest on behalf of Rockport Elementary School for an award of $25,000 that will put them on the road to designing and building a nature center in the school's new science room.
