Danvers Library kicks off National Poetry Month with a poetry open mic for teens. From slam poetry to sonnets, all poetry is welcome! Please register if you would like to read a poem by emailing jsantomauro@noblenet.org. There may be time at the end for poets who didn't register to read. Presented with National English Honors Society at Danvers High School. If you are attending but not reading, no need to register.
The Community House Of Hamilton & Wenham invites children and families to a photo session with Mr. Bunny and his friend Bo Peep! The event includes a digital photograph taken under The Community House tent, treats, and sweet spring memories. Register online for for a time slot.
Children in grades 1-3 are invited to explore painting materials and styles. The emphasis will be on having fun with the process, and painting experience is not required. Spring has sprung! Celebrate Earth Day with Sawyer Free Library Children's Services and Ms. Frizzle of the Magic School Bus! Ms. Frizzle presents an interactive & fun program about planting, gardening, and saving the beautiful planet Earth! This morning of fun is ideal for young children ages 3 and up and their families. This event will be held at 70 Middle Street, Trinity Church, right behind the library & no registration is needed.

Endicott Park's Erika Moretti presents a fascinating Animal Skull Identification program for kids! Budding scientists and nature lovers will really enjoy this presentation! Kids will get to see and touch real skulls from animals and will learn how to identify the animal based off the size and shape of the skull and certain key features. The skulls are all native mammals, but they'll see a bird and reptile skull for comparison. The lesson is very interactive, with lots of audience participation!
An informal weekly club for 10 - 14 year olds to play Minecraft together! Come explore this amazing creative world! Those new to Minecraft are welcome as instruction will be given by other experienced Minecrafters!
