By attending, you are able to meet the obstetricians, gynecologists, certified nurse midwives, maternity nurses, pediatricians, neonatologists and family practice physicians who are available to take care of you during your pregnancy and after your baby is born.

Mayor's Halloween Health Fair

The Mayor's Health Fair has trick or treating and lots of fun activities!

Newburport Mayor Holaday and the City Health Department invite the community to attend the Mayor’s Haunted Health & Wellness Fair and Flu Clinic on Saturday, October 26 from 10 am – 1 pm at City Hall. This year’s Fair offers Halloween Fun with a Healthy Focus. In addition to the FREE Flu Clinic, FREE Health Screening and a variety of informational displays from local health and wellness organizations, there will be a Children’s Costume Parade at 10:30 a.m. and a Costumed-Pet Parade at noon around Brown Square!

The Gloucester Area Astronomy Club celebrates their 10th Anniversary in October 2013! Come discover the wonder of the night sky on Cape Ann, and celebrate this milestone occasion! The evening will begin at 8:00 pm, and will feature a series of quick 10 minute talks by a parade of speakers, on topics ranging from trans-neptunian objects to the ten best things to see on the moon, from a selection of favorite astrophotos to the presence of water in the cosmos. Speakers will include young Clark Thakuria, Jim Koerth, Barry Yomtov, Alan Winter, Dr. Bill Waller, and a couple of surprise guests to boot.

Saturday, Saturday,Saturday! The 2013 Topsfield Fair is clearing out the Arena to make way for a crazy  Monster Truck show! Two exciting shows will be held; one at 5 pm and one at 8 pm. There will also Pit Party Passes available which allow ticket holders access into the arena to take picture with the cars and their drivers. The first Pit Party is at 4 pm before the 5 pm show and the second is at 9 pm after the 8 pm show. There are a limited number of Pit Party tickets available.

Come see how baseball used to be played (circa 1860s) at Spencer Pierce Farm

It’s Base Ball, 1861 style at Spencer Peirce Little Farm! Watch the teams of the new Essex Base Ball Association play for the Championship! The Newburyport Clamdiggers, Portsmouth Rockinghams, Lynn Live Oaks, and Lowell Base Ball Nine will play baseball using 1860s rules. These fun, historically accurate games feature underhand pitching and no gloves are allowed. A ball bounced once and caught is an out! Snacks, baseballs, and cards are available for purchase. Come and see for yourself how this game was played in the 1860's!

N.U. Marine Science Center Open House offers educational fun for the family!

All are invited to the Northeastern University Marine Science Center Annual Open House!
