Come enjoy a morning program filled with playtime, stories, crafts and more. Children and caregivers are invited to the Sawyer Free Library for a fun hour of stories, playtime, stories, songs, bubbles, movement, and a simple craft. Lots of fun and a great way to introduce children to other children his or her own age. For children ages 1-3. All are welcome!

With craft activities, games, story times, and scavenger hunts to take with you on the trail, we have all you need to create a memorable nature adventure fit for the whole family. Daisy Nell and Captain Stan visit the TOHP Burnham Public Library in Essex for an open house! Enjoy songs from Daisy's popular children's books Rocky at the Dockside, The Stowaway Mouse and Tilly and the Pirates. There will also be tours, snacks, door prizes and crafts!
All ages are welcome to join Miss Shannon for an evening of stories, songs, dances and more! Miss Shannon will be wearing her pajamas. You can wear yours, too! This is a drop-in program. No registration required.
Maudslay State Park invites you for a close-up view of a live owl and her babies in the nest, through a
spotting scope. Plus visit the park interpreter’s table to learn more about this raptor and see
skulls, feathers and owl pellets. Bring binoculars for better viewing of the nest. All ages are
welcome! Follow the signs from the parking lot to the field site.
Enjoy a hayride as you journey thru the park and along the river, to appreciate the rosebay rhododendrons as they exhibit their beauty. All programs sponsored by the Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation. Meet in the field across from the parking lot. For all ages. An adult must accompany children 12 & under.
