'Weekend in Summer' will have it's world premiere in Ipswich, Massachusetts! The film tells the story of three young men and their weekend adventure in the Summer that follows their graduation from high school. Written and directed by Brendan Fay, an Ipswich native, the film is a true product of the Ipswich community.

Bees are in trouble and humans can help. Within the past few years, a syndrome has been destroying bee colonies world-wide in a cycle referred to as Colony Collapse Disorder. In 'Queen of the Sun', director Taggart Siegel explores the world of bees and looks for answers to the sudden crisis that is threatening bee populations around the planet. The Newburyport Public Library invites teens in grades 6 through 12 to join us for “The Hunger Games” Movie Release Party in the Program Room. We will have Hunger Games and Catching Fire trivia, a survival skills challenge, and a dress-your-tribute-in-duct-tape-fashion challenge. A cornucopia of snacks will be provided.
