Marblehead's Memorial Day activities start at at Old Town House, starting at 8 a.m. An hour later at 9 a.m., the main parade will begin at Pleasant Street, continuing on to Memorial Park before turning left on Spring to Elm Street. The parade will then take a left off of Elm Street to Cressey, and merge onto Green, taking a left on Turner Road before concluding at Waterside Cemetery.

Discover Marblehead and the Marblehead Chamber of Commerce are partnering up again for the 2024 Marblehead Spring Celebration! The event is on Saturday, May 11^th (rain or shine)! This collaboration provides a festive showcase for local businesses, restaurants, stores, makers and artists all around Marblehead. It’s a great way to get out and enjoy Spring with the whole family. The Abbot Library is holding a moving & book sale in Marblehead Massachusetts! The Friends of Abbot Public Library will be having a moving sale from Monday, March 25 through Saturday, March 30! Stop by the Sail Away Book Shop located in the gym space at Abbot Public Library's interim location during sale hours. All books in the shop will be on sale, and the Friends will be holding a raffle. On Saturday, March 30, fill a bag of books for only $10!

Abbot Public Library will feature the fantasy musical film following the story of Willy Wonka, the famous but eccentric chocolatier based on the character from Roald Dahl's novel. The narrative traces his beginnings as a young adult who started as an employee selling chocolate in a store until he eventually became driven to enter the chocolate industry. This film acts as a prequel to the 1971 film adaptation of Dahl's novel. This movie is suggested for children ages 6 and up.
