Danvers Family Festival. Danvers MA - Family fun at Endicott Park

Endicott Park Day is a true family outing, with activities and events for people of all ages starting at 11:00. From the Doll Carriage Parade to face painting & temporary tattoos, and other kid’s activities, demonstrations, and rides. There is sure to be something for everyone. Local businesses and crafts-people will have booths. And bring an appetite, as a wide variety of food is available from fried dough to Boy Scout Troop 155’s grill.  *(for a nominal fee).  The Parent / Child Cookie Baking contest will be in Carriage House Conference Room, and the Entertainment will be in the Carriage House. All day rides for only $5.00

St. John's Preparatory School Open House in Danvers

At St. John's Prep, boys in grades 6 through 12 learn how to do GOOD. And change the world for good. Visit and you'll see.

Families intersted in learning more about applying to St. John's Preparatory School are invited to Open House on Sunday, October 30, 2016, from 10:00 AM to Noon. Visitors will be introduced to staff, tour the beautiful campus and learn about the programs. Rail Trail Bike Ride

Bike the Rail Trail from Topsfield to Danvers and back as part of Trails and Sails!

Join ECTA Trail Steward and Topsfield Rail Trail Committee Chairman Joe Geller as he leads us on a bike tour of the Topsfield Linear Common Rail Trail through Topsfield, Wenham, Danvers and Peabody.  We will begin at the Town Hall parking lot in Topsfield at 9 a.m. and ride to Lowell Street in Peabody.  We'll stop for a short break at Karl's Sausage Kitchen off Lowell Street in Peabody for rest rooms for about 20 minutes before returning to Topsfield.  This is a great chance to discover a fantastic and safe multi-use path you never knew was there!!

Museum of Science presents Science Magic

Science Magic presented by Museum of Science at Danver Public Library!

In this fun program, kids will explore how magic tricks really work. This program investigates the science behind the “magic” of several classic magic tricks. You might learn how to snatch a tablecloth without disturbing the items on top, make a balloon fireproof, and use electromagnetism to defy gravity. For the grand finale, our educator demonstrates how science can make it safe to lie down on a real bed of nails.
