Cape Ann Waldorf School Grades Tour, Kindergarten Independent School, Beverly MA

Thursday, March 28th, from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Cape Ann Waldorf School welcomes parents to visit Kindergarten to observe the Waldorf curriculum in action. Learn about the Waldorf approach to Kindergarten by observing the children in their daily rhythm and ask questions of the CAWS faculty.

There will be a Q & A with Cape Ann Waldorf School faculty. This is an adults only session.

Shore's Concrete Pour Contest

Shore's Concrete Pour Contest, Shore country Day School Beverly MA Independent S

The Upper School students at Shore Country Day School were challenged to calculate an estimate for the amount of concrete used to build the 2nd story floor and roof in the new building.

Leo Hogan, Project Superintendent of the Lawrence A. Griffin Center for Creativity, challenged the Upper School students to enter a contest -- Shore's Concrete Pour Contest. The objective was to find a reasonable and close estimate to the amount of concrete used to build the second story floor and the lower roof combined.

REAL Night Out at Glen Urquhart School in Beverly MA

The REAL (Reading • Educational Assistance • Learning) Program is holding their 2nd annual fundraising event, called "A REAL Night Out" at the Glen Urquhart School in Beverly, MA. The event will feature live and silent auctions, speakers, and entertainment. The event will be attneded by 250-350 community activists, local philanthropists, parents of children in the program, educational professionals, community leaders, city officials, and city school employees.

The Oberufer “Shepherds Play,” a Nativity play, is once again offered by faculty of the Waldorf School at Moraine Farm. It shows twice on Thursday, Dec. 17: at 4:30 and 7:00 p.m.  The play focuses on three shepherds who hear of the birth of Jesus and travel to bring him gifts.
