MIT's Open House is a chance to see some of the amazing things going on at MIT Museum in Cambridge Massachusetts!
On the public tour of MIT, tourists and locals will learn about the recent tech boom in the area as well as MIT’s history and culture while visiting the main MIT campus, tour inside several buildings and experience the surrounding Kendall Square area in the 70-minute walking tour.

There are more than 350 activities planned to enlighten and inspire—whether you're a child or an adult, a student or a teacher. There’s plenty to see and do for everyone!
Girls Inc. of the Seacoast Area is pleased to offer its first STEM program (Science Technology Engineering Math) for girls in grades 5 and 6 as we inspire all girls to be strong, smart and bold! Girls must attend all 3 days of thei Febraury Vacation workshop, where participants will nurture their interests in any or all of the STEM subjects - Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics. Preregistration and a signed permission slip is required for this FREE program.

It will discuss recent trends in four major areas: Cyberbullying, sexting/sextortion, digital footprint risk, and online academic dishonesty. This talk will reference the latest technology trends, as well as recent, specific examples mentioned in the national news media.
The MIT Museum shows an exhibit of the art and science of holography with The Jeweled Net: Views of Contemporary Holography. The exhibition created in conjunction with the 9th International Symposium on Display Holography, co-sponsored by the MIT Museum and the MIT Media Lab. Over 20 holograms created by international artists, as well as several from the MIT Museum collections, will be on display, and will remain open to the public through September 28, 2013.
Boston’s third annual Inventgenuity Festival is presented by Beam Camp, a New Hampshire summer camp for the applied arts, technology and collaboration. The weekend Festival will be loaded with a tremendous range of activities led by Beam’s staff of artists, engineers and big thinkers. The Inventgenuity Festival has become a popular annual winter celebration of making things for kids ages 7-14 and their parents.
