Origami Master Michael LaFosse will offer two free origami workshops to kick-off summer reading for the Newbury Town Library Youth Services Department. June 14th will take place on Plum Island at PITA Hall and June 15th will take place at the Newbury Town Library. Come learn from a master!

Names, dates, or any other text can be painted on the casts when they are glazed. These tiles make great gifts for Father's Day or any occasion! Join Newburyport artisan and re-maker Pam Farren teaches techniques to create one-of-a-kind prints using recycled styrofoam trays, paper and ink. Stop by and try your hand at making a miniature work of art! This is a Free program in the Children's Activity Room and all materials are provided, but you're encouraged to bring styrofoam trays from home to use or share.

Using fun props and lots of hands on science, we’ll look at everything from ducks to scuba divers and how water works!
