Glen Urquhart School’s gym was transformed into a state-of-the-art, hands-on children's museum focused on STEAM education (science, technology, engineering, art, and math). STEAM education is a nationwide initiative that creates critical thinkers, increases science literacy, and ignites the next generation of innovators. The program is designed to engage students’ right brains through activities that encourage divergent thinking.
The museum, comprised of different workstations, exposed students to a variety of high-tech fields of study at all grade levels, including NAO the Humanoid Robot, Newton’s cradle and a state of the art 3D printer.
