The Trustees of Reservations invites families to come to Halibut Point State Park for a hike and a picnic! Did you know there is more to the Trustees in the Northeast than just Crane Estate and Appleton Farms? Let us show you around properties you might not have heard of to expand your hiking repertoire and learn more about the natural history of the area.
Coolidge Reservation is the perfect spot for an ecology walk to see and appreciate the unusual variety of natural settings found in this relatively small area including rocky outcrops, woodlands, wetlands, and forests. After working up a healthy appetite, enjoy a picnic on the famous Ocean Lawn with sweeping views of the Atlantic.
Bring water and dress for the weather to maximize comfort. Unless otherwise communicated, Neighbor Property Hikes will convene at that property, not at Crane Estate.
