Sing-A-Long Mary Poppins brings this Disney family classic back to life! Audiences can celebrate the golden age of movies by enjoying this Oscar®-winning film in the fashion in which it was meant to be seen—a fully restored print in a grand theatrical setting with a state of the art sound system.  In addition, audiences are encouraged to come in costume and to sing along with some of the best-known and most beloved songs in motion picture history (“Spoonful of Sugar,” “Let’s Go Fly A Kite,” “Chim-Chim-Cher-ee,” and, of course, “Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious,”—to name just a few.)

This parent/child program is designed for the creative, curious, and active preschooler. Join Joppa Flats Education Center with your pre-schooler for an adventure to collect acorns, pine cones, lichen, bark, and moss at Newburyport's Moseley Pines. Then, we'll put imagination together with these wonderful natural materials, and you and your child will create a new woodland creature friend with what we find! You'll go home with a new excitement for finding natural treasures and turning them into creative projects.

This is an active indoor program for ages 3-6 and a favorite grown-up with some outdoor time (weather permitting). We will learn all about WOOD FROGS, SALAMANDERS, LADYBUGS, SONG BIRDS and more! Using props, group role play, song and movement, we will learn about the fascinating ways animals wake up and come back in springtime – each animal has its own special way of greeting the longer, warmer days of spring!
