In partnership with the Imagination Foundation, The Phoenix School will host its first Cardboard Challenge on Saturday, October 5 from 9 a.m. - noon at The Phoenix School in Salem. The Challenge is a worldwide celebration of creativity and imagination where everyone is challenged to design and create using cardboard and recycled materials. The Challenge culminates around the world on the global Day of Play, October 5, 2013.

You PLAN in advance; you UNDERSTAND the financial aid process; you ACT early enough to be successful. Financial Aid goes to the families who plan in advance - ideally before December 31st of the child’s sophomore year of high school. This course will teach you the concepts and strategies that will help you maximize your financial aid by understanding the process, and how implementing strategies may increase a family’s eligibility even if you have a “high income” or own a business. The greatest amount of financial aid goes to the families who act in the years before college.

The Measurement Olympics, Zimbabwean marimbas, Shore's Skylab Planetarium, Big Buddies, and songs in Spanish—all excite your child about learning. Shore’s Readiness, Kindergarten and First Grade teachers have personal knowledge and interest in each child. Students are encouraged to have fun with their intelligence and challenge themselves to reach ever higher goals, both academically and personally.
