During this teen, youth workshop, PEM instuctures will guide participants through defining a message, designing a visually impactful sign, and leading teens through the block-printing process with the PEM printmaking press.

These amazing women, hailing from four different countries and speaking four different languages, blend their talents to speak the universal language of rhythm with innovative perception. EXCELSIS invites the world into a celebration of percussion with its pageantry of marimbas, drums, cymbals, xylophones, and vibraphones.
Discover how movement and music can create and tell stories at Peabody Essex Museum. Interact and engage with performers from New Repertory Theatre's Classic Repertory Company. Get to know the string instrument family in a workshop and informal concert. Followed by a string instrument "petting zoo" for budding virtuosos. Create your own star projector to transform any wall into the night sky. Get active and explore sequences of movements to create and tell a story inspired by the moon.

Phoenix School students in 3rd - 8th grades build non-scary Halloween games as part of their STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, math) curriculum, and create Halloween art activities for kids to play and make at the party. Our party is about giving little kids a good time without being scared of Halloween.

The Paul Madore Chorale 51st Season presents: The Many Moods of a Classical Christmas- A delightful mix of holiday spirituals and popular carol arrangements. This return to the classical repertoire features Saint -Saens’ Christmas Oratorio, Vaughn Williams’ Hodie and works by Shaw, Palestrina and others.
As Earth's closest celestial body and only natural satellite, the moon has engaged our curiosity and imagination over millennia and across cultures. Contemporary artists use the moon as both a source of inspiration and investigation. Lunar Attraction features artworks and interactives that explore our longstanding fascination and connection with the moon, ranging from myths about the connection between werewolves and the full moon to the gravitational pull that controls Earth's tides to the 21st-century international race to build a base on the moon.
Go in search of witches and other weird wonders in the spooky town of Salem. Kids and adults work together to solve tricky questions while learning the tales behind old buildings, statues, graveyards, and assorted places that are, according to legend, haunted.
Salem Maritime National Historic Site will be celebrating sailing, ships, and our maritime heritage. Details about activities are coming soon. (Sneak peak! Activities will include sails of the Essex built schooners Fame and Ardelle, activities and lectures at St. Joseph Hall, and a social at Victoria's Station from 6:00 to 9:00 PM.)
