Join naturalists from Joppa Flats Education Center on a nocturnal hike through Rough Meadows underneath the Hunger Moon! We'll peek at the stars, go on stealth walks, and investigate the behaviors that animals use to survive the cold New England winter. We'll return to Joppa Flats for hot cocoa and s'mores over the fire pit. This is a tween/teen program.

We'll peek at the stars, learn about nocturnal animal adaptations, and see what kind of wildlife we can uncover. We'll cap off the evening with s'mores roasted over the firepit at Joppa Flats Education Center.
Join naturalists from Joppa Flats Education Center on the deck in the salt marsh at Rowley's Rough Meadows for a sing-a-long of sea shanties and maritime poetry, and learn how music was used to entertain, focus on work, and tell stories of nautical life. Bring your blanket and dinner and plan to stay for a picnic under the rising full moon. Instruments and shanty singers are welcome.

We will enjoy Spanish lessons, tye-dye day, a bubble party, lemonade stands, weekly water play, theater arts, music and treasure hunts with Jape the Pirate, decorating fairy houses, visits from the Ice cream truck and much more! We will be busy making memories that will last a life time!
Clark School, a private independent school founded in 1978, is moving from Danvers to Rowley, Massachusetts. Clark was founded on the idea that not all students are the same types of learners. Over the years the demand for the individualized approach to education offered at Clark School has steadily increased and the school has grown to where it is now – serving more than 140 students from all over Boston’s North Shore and Metro West, in Kindergarten through grade twelve.

Each program will focus on conservation updates, animal and plant interrelationships, changing environmental conditions, and an appreciation for the beauty and diversity of our surroundings. Join us this Sunday, August 25, from 9-11 AM at the Rowley Farmer's Market for a care clinic for your favorite stuffed friends! Nurse Libby of the Alpaca Center of Rowley and her team will be checking stuffed animals for bumps, breaks, bruises, and rips and helping them stay healthy and happy.
