Come to Marini Farm for a FREE anti-bullying awareness concert! To recognize national anti-bullying month, the farm will come alive with music focused on the theme of ending bullying. Spookley the Square Pumpkin, National Bullying Prevention Month's mascot, will be onsite to teach kids about the disruptive nature of bullying, and to support kids who have been bullied.

Join The Trustees of Reservations and Essex River Basin Adventures (ERBA) for a guided kayak paddle of Crane Wildlife Refuge in Essex Bay. This introductory paddle teaches participants the basics of sea kayaking before setting out to explore what Yankee Magazine called "the best place to kayak in New England."
The The Trustees of Reservations, in partnership with New England Barefoot Runners, invite the public to participate in their first annual Piping Plover 5K run at Castle Hill on the Crane Estate in Ipswich! Runners of all ages are welcome, barefoot optional, to race along the shoreline at low tide. All proceeds support The Trustees of Reservations and the shorebird monitoring program at Crane Beach. Come run for fun and help the shorebirds of the North Shore!
The Ipswich Museum will host a summer art workshop, titled Coastal Culture, as part of its annual “Art in August” series. The Museum’s summer exhibit "I must go down to the seas again..." highlights the work of local artists and examines their relationship with the sea. Come explore the exhibit with a scavenger hunt, then answer the next question: why do YOU go to the shore? Participants will create their own art illustrating the reasons they go “down to the seas again.” All ages – families welcom
Calling volunteers ages 13 and up! Join the farmhand crew to work along side our staff and gain first hand experience with our milking herd, planting and harvesting vegetables and flowers for the Community Supported Agriculture program, and raising chickens! Each week will be different and follow the rhythms of the farm. Teens are encouraged to sign up for multiple weeks to see how their work contributes throughout the season. Space is limited.

During this FREE day of events and activities you can take a self-guided tour of the Great House, enjoy lawn games along the rolling Grand Allée, go on a family-friendly treasure hunt, join a may-pole dance, find out what SummerQuest camp is all about, and get the low down on becoming a Trustees volunteer! People are encouraged to bring a picnic lunch!
